Frequently asked questions

We offer a full range of training courses, providing both bespoke training and nationally recognised qualifications. Our food safety training courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental health (CIEH) or Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC). Our formal health and safety training courses are accredited by the CIEH or by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Our accredited courses can even be personalised to your own business processes. Our experienced trainers can design and deliver the perfect programme to meet your needs, for the boardroom or the shop floor in any type of organisation.

At a location to suit you. Most clients prefer to hold the training in-house on their own premises but we are happy to run courses for you off-site, perhaps in a local hotel, or at our own training suite based in Northamptonshire or at our Head Office in Aylesford, Kent.

All of the accredited courses have a formal examination to test the knowledge of the candidate and successful candidates will receive certificates from the awarding body.

Certificates of attendance or achievement can be issued to delegates attending all other courses.

Usually within 3-6 weeks depending on the course required and current availability of our Trainers. We have frequently arranged and delivered a course within a week.

The cost of our courses will vary according to the course being delivered. The duration of the course and the cost of the course materials and examination fees. For example, A one day course will cost as little as £695 + VAT per day for 12 – 15 people. Any course materials and examination fees will be charged at cost per candidate. You will always receive a written quotation before work begins. Discounts are available where higher volumes of work are placed.

We use a variety of methods during a course, depending on the subject and the course objectives. Our philosophy is to “train by doing” which means that, wherever possible, we include practical exercises.

This enables delegates to put the theory into practice, and see at the same time how it relates to their own workplace. This makes them feel more able and confident to use their newly-learnt skills when back at the workplace.

We have several experienced, qualified trainers. We select the most appropriate trainer for the course content and the delegate group. All trainers undertake consultancy work and can bring that experience to the classroom, citing real workplace examples to illustrate and reinforce learning points.
